Wolverine #1 (1982) collection

Oxymoron #1 — Wolverine #1 Homage

Standard cover

Cover for Oxymoron #1, cataloged as a Wolverine #1 homage. The villain Oxymoron grins in close-up, hands raised in the exact 'come on' gesture arrangement of Miller's Wolverine #1 (including the retro layout). Issue and release date independently matched to Comic Vine. Strong visual homage: Oxymoron grins and beckons while the raised hand echoes the claws. Cover artist remains unconfirmed; do not confuse with the 2012 hardcover or the 2015 Loveliest Nightmare series. Cover artist remains unconfirmed; no credit has been inferred from a different edition.
