The original cover
The silhouette inside the circle.
Spider-Man swings in his black costume against a field of repeating “300” numerals. The bent legs, sweeping web, and circular frame make McFarlane’s composition instantly recognizable.
The issue contains Venom’s first full appearance. The figure on its cover is Spider-Man in the black costume.
New drawings are distinct artworks. Virgin, foil, sketch, reprint, and color treatments using the same drawing stay together as related editions. A few later covers echo the pose without repeating the entire layout.

A growing catalog, with its sources attached.
Reviewed against the supplied checklist, individual collector records, publisher announcements, artist portfolios, and retailer images. Unconfirmed cover credits and missing images are labeled. Edition totals are documented minimums, not complete print-run inventories.
Midnight Spider-Man #1: Sajad Shah’s PCB Hobby exclusive is included as a visually attributed pose homage. The retailer confirms the artist and edition but does not name ASM #300; conflicting advertised limits are left unassigned. Jonathan Uribe’s Midnight cover belongs to Spider-Man #1 (1990), while his new Amazing Spider-Man #1000 cover belongs here.
Metaphase #2 does not match the supplied homage composition. Annuals, collected editions, and the 2019/2020 Marvel Zombies reuses remain attached to their existing drawings. Unresolved checklist leads remain in the updated research workbook and outside the published artwork count.
