Artist Profile

A career in context

Todd Nauck entered professional comics in the 1990s and became widely known through work on Young Justice, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Teen Titans Go!, and landmark issues including the Barack Obama story in Amazing Spider-Man.

He continues to draw for Marvel and DC, including The New History of the DC Universe and Marvel’s ICONIC variant-cover program. His long relationship with superhero storytelling gives his homages the ease of an artist speaking a native language.

CoverLineage noteNauck’s versions emphasize readability and character. The borrowed pose never feels frozen; it behaves like a beat in a story that began before the cover and will continue after it.
