Artist Profile

A career in context

Pye Parr began at the British science-fiction comic 2000 AD as a designer before moving into comic artwork. His publisher biography identifies Intestinauts as his first professional comics series and describes a broader practice encompassing book jackets, gig posters, concept art, painting and corporate branding.

He illustrated Realm of the Damned, a trilogy of horror graphic novels, before launching the creator-owned Petrol Head with writer Rob Williams in November 2023. The Image Comics series combines robots and motor racing in a science-fiction setting. This background places his comic work alongside the mechanical imagery and graphic design found throughout his illustration practice.

Image and Skybound announced Parr as the artist of the Energon Universe’s M.A.S.K. series with writer Dan Watters in 2026. The announcement separately credits colorist Pierluigi Casolino and letterer Rus Wooton, and identifies Parr as the main-cover artist. His published work thus includes both creator-owned storytelling and licensed characters, with interior and cover credits that should be distinguished when cataloging editions.
