A career in context

Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti founded Event Comics in 1994 before taking on the Marvel Knights line. Marvel’s oral history identifies Quesada as a co-founder and co-editor of that initiative, as well as the artist on its Daredevil series.

His drawing career continued alongside his publishing work. Marvel’s bibliography includes Spider-Man projects and Marvel Knights: The World to Come, where he is paired with writer Christopher Priest. His career offers a view of comics from both the drawing table and the work of shaping a publishing line.
