Artist Profile
A career in context
Dan Panosian is an American comics artist from Cleveland, Ohio. Image Comics describes a career that began with work for Marvel and DC, continued at Image and Extreme Studios, and expanded into video games, film and television. His publisher biographies list superhero credits including Thor, The Uncanny X-Men, Captain America, Wolverine and Batman: Arkham Knight.
Panosian took both writing and art duties on Slots, published by Image Comics and Skybound. The Las Vegas crime series follows former boxer Stanley Dance as he searches for redemption. Its first six issues were collected in the first volume, giving readers a sustained example of his storytelling beyond individual superhero covers.
His bibliography also includes Operation Nemesis: A Story of Genocide & Revenge. Bloomsbury identifies him as a descendant of Armenian genocide survivors and notes his contribution to that graphic novel. These different projects place his cover work alongside crime fiction, historical subjects and commercial visual development rather than reducing his career to variant illustrations alone.
