Artist Profile

A career in context

Adam Gorham is a comics artist and writer based in Canada. His career began in 2008, and his published work includes both sequential art and covers. At BOOM! Studios, he illustrated Dune: Blood of the Sardaukar and contributed covers to titles including Something Is Killing the Children, Firefly, and Adventure Time Comics.

Gorham collaborated with R. L. Stine on Stuff of Nightmares: Red Murder, bringing his interest in horror to a story set around a comic-book convention. His Marvel bibliography includes Rocket, New Mutants: Dead Souls, and Hellhunters, placing his work across cosmic adventure, mutant stories, and supernatural action.

CoverLineage noteHis Red Sonja #15 variant brings a fantasy heroine into the Spider-Man #1 lineage. It offers a useful comparison with his horror and superhero work: the inherited composition remains the connecting thread across very different genres.
